Join Petridish for the inaugural PetriKucha presentation evening!

This will be a super fun and fast paced evening of short presentations. Each presenter has strictly 5 minutes and chooses 20 slides (images only - no text!) that are shown for only 15 seconds each. This forces the presenter to keep it moving as the images automatically change. It's a great way to talk about something you're passionate or excited about while practicing your public speaking! 

As this will be during TECH WEEK - our theme for our first PetriKucha is "Technology for Life". The presenters can make of that what they like - they can share their technology thoughts & ideas, love or hates, how it affected a holiday, or a business, or their wedding, or what (they think) will happen when robots take over the world!! 

Our very own member at Petridish, Callum McKirdy, will be your MC for the evening. He will even start us off with his presentation! 

The presentations may be humorous or serious or creative - the interpretation is up to the presenter, as long is it has something to do with Technology. 

At each PetriKucha event (at this stage quarterly) there will be a special guest speaker. This time we have been lucky enough to get Mark Neilson - Actor and Comedian!

Spectator ticket = $15/person. 

Attendance is free for speakers, but is limited to only 8 places.
