New Zealand Aerospace Challenge 2019 Roadshow - Dunedin

  • Petridish 8 Stafford St Dunedin New Zealand (map)

Are you thinking of entering the New Zealand Aerospace Challenge 2019 and want to find out more?

The national roadshow is coming to Petridish, Dunedin on Wednesday 20 March.

The Challenge will recognise one of the biggest issues facing the agricultural sector – sustainability. Applicants will be asked to develop a product or service that detects, monitors or measures water or soil pollution using the very latest satellite and unmanned aircraft (UA) technology.

New Zealand, with its rich history of innovation and agriculture, has the opportunity to lead the rest of the world in this exciting and important field. The winner of the New Zealand Aerospace Challenge 2019 will be at the forefront of this highly anticipated field of research and development.

Come along to the Dunedin roadshow event to learn how you’ll be supported by Airbus, agri and tech specialists in the incubator programme, and the awards event in October.

You will also learn more about how space and UAV technology can address sustainable agriculture in New Zealand and its challenges.

The roadshows will be presented by SpaceBase Co-Founders Eric Dahlstrom and Emeline Paat-Dahlstrom, who have partnered with ChristchurchNZ as delivery partner for the New Zealand Aerospace Challenge 2019.

Invited local agritech specialists will join them to give insights on the Challenge problem statement, its challenges, and current solutions.
